This page is being setup for our good friend, son, and brother Trent Widdop, In hopes we can Help out with the hefty medical bills he will be facing. For those of you that didn't see the news or hear of the unfortunate events Last weekend here's a little info. Trent was camping with some friends out in the 5 mile pass recreation area, myself included. Winding down the night, Trent went out to gather one last load of fire wood in his utv. If you personally know Trent, then you know how serious he is about his fires . When Trent didn't return as expected we began searching for him and became worried. It wasn't till the sun had come Up the next morning that we found his utv lodged in an abandon mine shaft. Fearing the worst we called 911 and summoned search and rescue. The search and rescue teams along with several local agencies did a superb job quickly getting to the crash sight and rescueing Trent from the mineshaft. Trent had fallen nearly 100' down the shaft and spent the sevral hrs (8-12) in the mineshaft unconscious. and it is a miracle he is alive today. Trent was flown by helicopter to the U of U hospital and spent the night in the intensive care unit. He suffered a fractured skull and trauma to his brain but his condition is looking better by the day is expected to make a full recovery. I know there were angels with Trent that night and they definitely watched over him. Trent is one of the most down to earth people I know and comes
From a family the like. The past year has brought some real hardships to the widdup family and any prayers, donations, or contribution u can make. Weather it be big or small would be greatly appreciated by Trent as well as all the family and friends. The Hospitality and judgement free love this family has for each and every person that comes into their lives has really touched me and I hope that we can give back to them in anyway possible.
