Trenton Mcelmurry Memorial & Funeral Fund

My name is Russell Keetch. I’m fundraising for my dear friend Trenton Mcelmurry’s family (Sylvia and their two sons Seth, age 14 and Jameson, age 5). I met Trenton Mcelmurry 21 years ago when he asked me for a job- the kid was just 12 years old and wouldn’t take no for an answer! We’ve worked together the last few years as he started as a laborer and moved up the ladder where he could work remotely as a general manager and software consultant. His dream was to move his family to a rural location with land for their sons to roam. He fulfilled his dream this week after packing up the U-Haul in Provo, Utah and closing on his home at the courthouse at noon yesterday in North Dakota. His life journey ended too short just a few hours later when he laid down to take a nap at his new home.
The sudden news has been devastating for Sylvia and their sweet sons. In this moment, we feel helpless but we know prayers for this young family will provide comfort. The local townspeople in Hettinger, North Dakota showed up this morning (including the sheriff, neighbors and firefighters) to rally behind Sylvia including unloading the moving van and bringing by food. Trenton was an old soul who made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone and sacrifice many late nights to provide for his family. He would do service for anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Trenton, age 33, will now be reunited with his older brother Travis, who died a few years ago when he was age 30. Thank you in advance for all of the love and support!
