Trenton Police Officer Kevin Starkey

This page is here to raise money for Trenton Police Officer Kevin Starkey who was injured in a motor vehicle accident after the fleeing suspects’ vehicle struck his patrol car.  

     On July 29, 2020 at approximately 0230 hours, 3 suspects in a stolen vehicle, fired upon pursing Trenton Police Officers while they were attempting to stop the vehicle. No officers were struck by the gun fire, however, their police vehicle was struck multiple times. While the pursuit continued, assisting Police Officers, including Starkey were responding. When the police chase approached the intersection assisting officers were coming from, the suspect vehicle collided with Officer Starkey’s patrol vehicle, resulting in a terrible motor vehicle crash. Officer  Starkey sustained a severe head injury and is in critical condition currently. He had emergency surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit. His wife, also a Trenton Police Officer, is unable to work due to being by his bedside. The goal is to raise money to help with any necessary needs. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
