Teressa Ferguson (Glisson)

Tressa was loved by many. She was murdered on 9/30/23 at approximately 6pm by an unknown person on the IH-35 in Austin TX. The current investigation states this was a road rage incident at no fault of hers. Our family is seeking to not only help fund her final expenses but to also fund a reward for information leading to the identification and conviction of her killer, as well as expenses we incur to pursue her killer. She was a kind and vibrant soul, rescuing dogs, helping the elderly and always willing to lend a hand and a quick smile. She loved to travel, garden, and to pet the head of every passing dog. She had a contagious laugh and always had a fun story to share. The tragedy of a promising and generous life taken too soon is devastating to our family. Help us find her killer please. It won’t bring her back but it may save another innocent life. UPDATE: After being captured on 10/31/23, It is with disbelief, anger, disappointment and utter disgust that the family learned that Justin Bernard Justice, age 28, charged with the FIRST DEGREE MURDER of TERESSA GANDY FERGUSON was given a ridiculously low bond of $250,000 last night by what is clearly an uncaring Judge Gordon H. Karchmer, in AustinTX. This Judge Karchmer is a disgrace to victims everywhere. For a mere $7500 bond this KILLER, this animal that has no value for human life, with a long, long criminal history, including being a registered sex offender, can very easily be among the population to continue to destroy lives.  In some instances, his middle name has been spelled wrong in court documents , so he may show up as Justin Barend Justice. Not only is this a slap in the face to us, her family, you her friends, but to every citizen that he may ever come in contact with. So be very aware, this KILLER WILL BE BACK AMONG US ALL. He is going to be able to continue his life of total evil and disregard as if it’s a normal day. Feel free to research him. We have been able to trace his criminal history as far back as 2014 at this point.  We APPLAUD AND APPRECIATE  the APD, the Detectives and US Marshals, that worked so diligently to capture this animal. We know they are disappointed in this inexcusable and ridiculous bond as well.
