Trevor Cusacks Life Saving Treatment

On July 20, 2022 Trevor received a routine, scheduled MRI to be sure that his brain scans were clear and stable. He had been cancer free for almost two years after a full craniotomy, radiation and chemotherapy in January 2019 to remove a large brain tumor that had been affecting Trevor for years without being properly diagnosed.

So when Trevor and Denise received the call from his doctor that his current MRI scan was unstable, they were worried and terrified.

There is now regrowth of another tumor in a different area of his brain. This tumor being in a much deeper area.

Surgeons are wanting to do a full craniotomy again for a biopsy and further treatment at the Cross Cancer.

With great concern of more memory loss, vision loss, seizures, or any complications for only a biopsy

Denise searched for an alternate treatment that would help Trevor fight this tumor aggressively without jeopardizing his health and well-being even more. The first round of Chemo for Trevors tumor was incredibly taxing on his body with his liver near shutting down.

They have decided to proceed with treament at Envita Medical Centre in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Envita is an integrated center for personalized oncology treatment composed of genetically targeted chemotherapies, immunotherapies, and epigenetic therapies. Trevor will receive IV treatments for 2-6 hours per day for 5 days a week for 3 months.

Trevor, Denise along with their children Haylee and Cole will be moving for 3 months so they can be together while Trevor receives his treatments.

The cost of treatment alone will be approximately $250,000 plus the cost of living abroad.

Trevor and Denise own and operate a grain farm south of Vermilion, Alberta. As this treatment is urgent, Trevor is unable to be home to harvest his crops. Many family and friends have reached out to chip in and help over harvest this upcoming fall.
