Trevor's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
UPDATE (2/20/19)
Since starting this fund a few days ago, we have received so much love and support from those who love Trevor, far and wide. This fund will help us get Trevor the care that he needs. He's hanging tough while we work to finalize his transfer. Thank you!

One outcome of this fundraising effort is that many more people have learned about the situation and want to visit Trevor. We cannot be clear enough that visitors are not allowed now or in the nearby future, unfortunately. Visiting is disruptive, harmful, and dangerous (i.e., increases the possibility of infection), no matter how much Trevor loves you. A few individuals have found a way to show up unannounced. In those situations, he has become upset and has told them to leave. Please share your love through text message or by sending a card to his mother or siblings to deliver. If you have any questions about this policy, contact Evan (317-490-5394). Thank you for understanding and your continued support.

ORIGINAL POST
On Wednesday, January 30th, 2019, Trevor Holloway was admitted to the hospital and subsequently diagnosed with acute major organ failure. Over the past few weeks, Trevor has suffered from organ failure-related symptoms and has remained in intensive care, where his health continues to worsen and his situation has become increasingly dire. Each day is a fight for his life.

Trevor is receiving excellent and comprehensive care, but it has become increasingly apparent that Trevor urgently needs a transplant in order to live. However, due to restrictive medical policies, Trevor is unable to receive the transplant he so desperately needs in Indiana. Consequently, he will need to travel out of state in order to receive life-saving treatment.

And yet – there is hope. Trevor is on the verge of being admitted to the transplant center at a top-notch hospital on the East Coast, where we are optimistic that he will receive the transplant he desperately needs. While there are still challenges ahead, Trevor is fortunate to have his youth, grit, and an extensive network of family, friends, and community members to support him in this time of need.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help. As one may expect, Trevor is facing many legal, medical, and logistical costs. Even with insurance coverage, we anticipate significant medical bills and associated costs, such as relocation and post-transplant care. We humbly ask that you consider donating to Trevor’s Recovery Fund to help offset some of these costs.

We also greatly appreciate keeping Trevor and those close to him in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

Trevor is a passionate, full of life, funny, caring, and genuinely loving person. This is a tough moment for him, but with your love and support, we are hopeful that he will recover and lead a long and happy life.

We are humbled by your generosity and support in this trying time.

With love and gratitude,

Vincent Holloway
