Treyce Halbmaier

Treyce Halbmaier was involved in an accident at daycare on 12/11. He was life-flighted from Mary Lanning to Omaha with a severe brain-bleed. He is on a ventilator and had two life-saving surgeries immediately on 12/11 to stop brain bleeds. Update as of 12/12 AM --He is currently in an induced coma. He's stable and it was a good night. He's responding to touches on his legs and arms which is a good sign and he's able to move his legs on his own even with being heavily sedated. The recent CT scan looks better than what it did when he arrived. 12/12 PM update --- He's stable. He was moving his legs and arms when you touched him. He was slightly opening his left eye and Trevor was talking to him and he smiled at him. This is all good things but they need to control his body temperature so he is on a cooling system to help with that and they put him on a medication that is going to keep him from moving so his vitals stay level rather than spiking when they try to move him. They are currently hooking up an EKG to monitor him.

Treyce, as well as the family, have a long road ahead of them.
