Trey's Transplant funds
Trey began experiencing serious health issues a couple years ago. This corresponded with a drastic decline in his kidney function. Trey received his first kidney transplant when he was in high school and wasn't informed that his new kidney would only have a lifetime of fifteen years. As such, this event blindsided him.
To complicate matters, because Trey had already received a transplant, it meant his body would be less likely to accept another new kidney. He's been working hard to try and find the perfect match. Amazingly, Trey has had the highest number of potential donors to ever sign up for a recipient at his targeted hospital. We're eternally grateful for the outpouring of support you all have given, whether it's signing up or spreading the word. Through that support, we can be confident that a match will come along eventually, and when it does Trey will be in good hands
In the meantime, another way we can help Trey is financially. Trey has
had over two years of expensive medical bills from various medicines, procedures, and emergency hospital stays. He's had a hard time keeping employment due to disruptions from his health issues, so there hasn't been much income to help offset these costs. Looking towards the future, the transplant itself won't be cheap, and assuming the recovery goes well, Trey will have to wait for at least six months (and maybe more) before he can start working again.
We humbly ask for donations so that we can ease some of the burden placed onTrey. He would like to thank you in advance for your generosity. This support will help him immediately, as well as give him some breathing room so that he can bounce back and secure his future once he's healthy.
Words can't quite explain how moved we are with the support given so far. Thank you again for reading this, and we appreciate anything you can do to support Trey, whether it's donating or helping spread the word.
