Tri for Tails

Dear Family and Friends,

We are excited (and a little nervous!) to be participating in an Olympic Distance Triathlon relay at Long Beach this Sunday, July 21st. Our team consists of myself, James, and Christina, and together we aim to raise $2,000 for Wags & Walks, an incredible dog rescue organization based in Los Angeles. I will be starting us off with the 1.5km open water swim, James will be powering through the 40km bike ride and Christina will be bringing it home with a 10k run.

Wags & Walks holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where I adopted my beloved dog, Scooby, last year following a period of volunteering with the organization. This organization has been a beacon of hope for countless dogs in need, rescuing them from overcrowded, high kill shelters and finding them loving forever homes.

Our Goal:

We are aiming to raise $2,000 to support their ongoing efforts. Through the Bone-A-Fied Sponsorship program, a $2,000 gift will be dedicated to the salvation of four dogs in need.

Why Wags & Walks:

Wags & Walks is a community of advocates dedicated to creating a better world for dogs. Since their inception in 2011, they have rescued 12,600 dogs, provided medical care, rehabilitation, and provided 1000+ foster homes for dogs in need and grown a network of over 700 volunteers and adopters who ensure that every dog gets a chance at a happy life.
