Triathlon for Maternal Mental Health
Join me on an exhilarating journey as I dive into the challenge of the Guildford Sprint Triathlon, not just for personal achievement, but to champion a cause close to my heart – supporting the Maternal Mental Health Alliance .
Every stroke, pedal, and step I take is fuelled by the passion to make a real difference in the lives of mothers battling mental health challenges. By backing my efforts, you're not just supporting a race, you're investing in the well-being of families, ensuring that every mother receives the care and support she deserves during what should be one of life's most joyous moments.
This is for you, my dear. I'll love you always x
Why fundraise for Maternal Mental Health Alliance?
Around 1 in 5 women develop a mental health problem during pregnancy or in the early years after having a baby. Too often, they go unrecognised, undiagnosed, and untreated.
If untreated, perinatal mental health problems can have a devastating impact on the women affected and their families.
Maternal Mental Health Alliance exist to change this.
They campaign for all women throughout the UK who experience a perinatal mental health problem to receive the care and support they and their families need, wherever and whenever they need it.
Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a profound impact.
What is the Guildford Sprint Triathlon ?
Get ready to witness the thrill of the race day! I'll be tackling a 500m swim, powering through a 23k bike ride, and conquering a 5k run. But let me tell you, the real test lies in the training grind. Week after week, I'm pushing myself through runs, swims, cycling adventures, and even squeezing in some yoga sessions to prep for the big day.
My goal? To crush my previous time and emerge stronger than ever.
Curious about my journey? I'll be posting some updates along the way on Insta.
Donate today and be a part of this incredible journey towards brighter tomorrows for all mothers.
