Hello, my name is Akpomejevwe Mukoro. I am the fashion designer and creative director for the menswear bespoke brand Threaded Culture . I am also currently a student at SCAD(Savannah College of Art and Design).
The TRIBE Art Exhibition is a well-orchestrated celebration of Atlanta’s art community. It is a blended
compilation of young aspiring individuals of all nationalities sharing their imagination and artistry. TRIBE highlights African culture but it features art, fashion, music, and poetry from cultures around the world.
TRIBE is a personal project that is an extension of my bespoke African Brand Threaded Culture. I wanted
to create an event that monumentally establishes a platform for other creatives to showcase their work
and get exposure. This project is dear to me because I have dedicated my heart to this plan. It has always been in my nature to halp and motivate people and this event would not only halp the
With the money raised on Go Fund Me, we would be able to pay for our rented venue, print promotional materials and offset production cost. We are also partnering with the Alloneblood non-profit organization in efforts to raise money for kids suffering from sickle cell desease. AllOneBlood is an advocacy organization whose core competency is promoting public awareness and raising funds for Sickle Cell Disease. Our focus is on uniting people from all walks of life in the global fight against this disease.
