Tribute to Ananda

It is with great sadness that we inform you the demise of our beloved friend Ananda (47) today evening at the NJ Hackensack hospital. Ananda was a kind, down to earth person, extremely caring dad and a husband. He is survived by his wife and two adorable kids aged 17 and 12 respectively.
Ananda was earlier diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer) on August 2018 for which he was undergoing treatment and was hospitalized for six months while under H1 visa. As many can relate his expenses were catching up with his treatments and life as such was very challenging for him and his family. While the initial treatments were giving hope to the family his Doctor moved forward to stem cell treatment October of last year where they found out his condition has relapsed.
Ananda was admitted to NJ Hackensack Hospital after high fever and vomiting and last night his condition further deteriorated with his BP dropping and needing multiple CPRs to stabilize him. Despite the efforts from the Doctors, he had to be put on life support and around noon today his family was informed that he was not responding to the treatments. Tonight, Ananda passed away with his family and friends around him at the hospital.
Ananda was the only earning member of his family and have been already struggling with the expensive treatments that he was undergoing. On top of seeing her loved one go through all the suffering and given his sudden demise, his wife is under extreme pressure where she has to plan for her and their kids future.
We are putting together this Go Fund Me account to,
1. Settling funeral, other immediate expenses and any local debt:
We are with the understanding that the family was already in debts incurred during the treatments and your support will help settle those before they can use the rest for their immediate needs until Ananda's wife is able to get training and find a job. Also, a portion of the funds will be utilized for the funeral expenses.
2. Children's education and support:
Ananda loved his kids very much and went to great extents to keep them happy. Also, we all know how expensive schooling and colleges can be. The money that you donate would be used to help support the education of his kids currently as well as in future.
In a split second his family's life turned upside down due to his sudden demise. While we can never replace what this family has lost, we are only trying to do our small bit to help this family overcome some of the financial troubles by extending our support.
