Tribute to Darren Hardesty: Aid for Peyton

A few days ago, an unexpected tragedy resulted in the death of our beloved friend, salon partner, co worker, boyfriend and dad, Darren Hardesty.

Darren was such a special part in my life and starting my salon career together with him by my side. I am asking for your help to raise funds for the burial and memorial services for Darren.

Darren is survived by his only child Peyton and two beautiful dogs. He was a master in the hair industry for over 2 decades. He owned 2 salons, taught hairdressers his tricks of the trade and always had the eye for artistic talent and modern fine art.

Darren grew up in New Orleans and always loved southern blues playing on on the radio when he was cooking for his friends and Peyton. He taught others how to be bold, confident and stand tall for who you are and where you want to go in life. My favorite saying of his was "Get your head right Yo!" In the salon and out in the real world... And boy did he ever, in every aspect of his life. Darren was always a "straight shooter" and no bs kind of friend, lover, worker and dad.

If you ever got a chance to be a client in Darren's chair you surely were going to want to come back for more. Darren was very versed in the key components of creating artistic styles whether they short or long, colored or not. Darren touched us all in such a vivacious way that I know his memory will live on forever.

Please, anything you are able to donate will help young Peyton with the costly burial and memorial service expenses.
