A unique opportunity to have Jerry and VMF recognized on the Triangle Fire Memorial donor panel. The nine-story tall Memorial -- the national monument to the victims and legacy of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire -- will be a powerful tribute to the "fire that changed America."
My father, Jerry, had always supported the work to remember this seminal event in American history and the wave of reform inspired by the preventable tragedy known as the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. And, he wanted the VMF to be listed permanently on the Triangle Fire Memorial. To that end, he had donated several thousand dollars to help fund the project and to ensure this listing would occur. Now that the Memorial is about to be installed and dedicated, his family and friends are working to raise an additional $16,500 so that the VMF and Jerry can be listed on the Memorial's donor plaque for all time, honoring not only their commitment to justice but also a recognition of Jerry's co-founding of VMF. All funds go to construction and installation costs related to the Triangle Fire Memorial.
Thank you!
Anna and Adam

BACKGROUND
In 1911, 146 workers lost their lives in a tragic and avoidable fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in lower Manhattan.
In the ashes of the Triangle fire rose the modern labor movement. Now, all these years later, working people from around the nation are joining together to build a national memorial to those workers and to honor the legacy of reform their deaths inspired.
The Triangle Fire Memorial construction is almost complete!
