Tribute to Kimberly: Aid Denver's Homeless Animals

It's with a heavy heart I have to announce that my Mother, Kimberly Henderson, left this life on May 15th, 2024.

For those of us that got to spend even five minutes in a room with her, we know this world has lost an immense spirit that was full of compassion, love, and a vibrant energy that would light up the room as soon as she entered. When you were you in her house, no matter who you were and where you came from, you were immediately made to feel at home.

There were many passions my mother had in life, and the one she dedicated herself to time and time again was helping any person, or creature in need; but she cared for her four-legged friends the most ... I cannot remember a time in my life where my mom wasn't accompanied by a wet-nose and a wagging tail wether it was her own companion or simply another little soul who needed some help, a safe place to rest or a good meal ...

It was from her compassion that I gained my love and respect for all animals. I am setting up this page as a way Tribute and pay Honor to her memory and that Compassionate Spirit of hers.

For anyone that knew her would know that this is exactly what she would have wanted and to serve as a reminder that some good can always be found, and done, even in the toughest and saddest of times.

100% of donations from this page will go to the Denver Dumb Friends League in my mom's name.

The Denver Dumb Friends League is a Nonprofit Organization with over a 100 year history in Colorado thats mission is to support animal welfare, and fight to end animal homelessness and suffering. They accomplish Through their network of amazing no-kill shelters, advocacy programs, and expanding affordable veterinary care in local communities across Colorado.
