Tribute to Melissa Smith: Aid for Her Family

Hi friends and family! My name is Misty Mahan. Most of you may know me, but if not, I’d like to introduce myself. I am a close friend of Melissa and her husband “Biggie”. We met many years ago, and have always remained close. No matter how much time went by, Melissa was always someone I could call on and definitely a friend I will never forget. It is with our deepest sorrow to inform you of the death of our beloved wife, family, and friend. My love and thoughts are with everyone whom is touched by this tragedy.

Melissa Smith was the best mother, wife, sister, and friend. Melissa’s life was taken unexpectedly on July 5, 2024. Melissa was full of life and anyone who knew Melissa personally knew how truly special she was. She was one of a kind and this tragic event is something her family and friends are left with feeling hopeless, and uncertain on which steps to take next. I’m creating this GoFundMe to take care of the funeral expenses, as well as expenses that her husband will need while dealing with the trauma of losing the love of his life in such a tragic way. We want to be able to keep Melissa’s memories alive, and create a special tribute that she and her family deserves.
