Tribute to Suresh Lingam

It is with great sadness that we inform you the demise of our beloved friend and colleague Suresh Lingam.
Suresh had cardiac arrest on 3/21/2019 around 10:30 PM and he was taken to North Fulton hospital after giving basic CPR. He was immediately taken into emergency care and doctors tried every possible thing to save him, but he died on 3/22/2019 “04:35am EST”. Doctors reported he had blockage on two arteries those were cleared through surgery, but his brain was not responding, after trying for 7-8hrs doctors declared him as dead.
Suresh death was so sudden that his family is in deep shock and grief. Suresh was always cheerful, positive and helpful. He was spiritual and had no bad habits, he used to even avoid eating outside but one cannot change God’s will. He left behind his wife and two kids (11 year old son and 14 year old daughter).
Suresh was the only earning member of the family and he comes from a lower middle-class family. He was on a H1B work visa. As many of us that understand this situation, his wife and kid are on H4 visa and had to return India with his body immediately. His untimely demise puts the family not only under tremendous grief, but also under extreme pressure to wind up and relocate to India in just a few days as they will not be able to return to the US after the funeral.
We are putting together this Go Fund Me account to
1. Help Suresh's family move to India and settle down:
As soon as they move to India, they would need to arrange for a long-term place to live, school admissions for children and some support for living expenses.
2. Endowment for children's education:
Suresh loved his kids very much and went to great extents to keep them happy. Also, we all know how expensive schooling and college is in India. The money that you donate would be used for creating an endowment fund to help support the education of his kids (son and daughter) currently as well as in future.
3. Settling any local debt / expenses:
Although his company is helping him to great extent but there will some lease breakage, loan payoff and notice etc. We do not want his family to suffer silently in case of any urgent cash requirements locally.
We humbly request that you support this cause. Many of us could put ourselves in Suresh's shoes. In a split of second his life was lost and his family's life was turned upside down. While we can never replace what this family has lost, we are only trying to do our small bit to help this family overcome some of the financial troubles by extending our support. Your generous and timely donation are sincerely appreciated.
All the funds that are getting collected in the campaign will be directly deposited to the beneficiary's account (i.e) Lakshmi Kalavathi Lingam wife of Suresh Lingam. The funds collected will be managed and invested by the beneficiary after consultation with the financial adviser to cover both short/long-term living expenses of the family and also to cover long-term educational expenses for the kids.
