Tribute to Trenton R Harris

It is with great sadness I have to announce my brother has unexpectedly passed away. Trent was killed in Seattle WA on Sunday July 17th. His killer is still out there and our family will not be at peace until they are found

My brother had his difficulties in life but never deserved what happened to him. He was a funny, caring and optimistic individual. He was only 30 years old and had so much more life to live. My mother is in shambles and we have no idea how to grieve. We just recently lost our father in March and I am just lost for words and numb I never thought I would lose my brother as well. We humbly ask if you can donate to help us raise the money to provide a memorial for my brother we would greatly appreciate it.

Detectives Investigating After Shooting Victim Found Dead in CID Park

Homicide Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in a park in the Chinatown-International District on Sunday afternoon.

At 2:54 p.m., police were called to Kobe Terrace Park for reports that a man was overdosing on narcotics. Officers arrived and found an adult male victim slumped over near a bench. When officers attempted to rouse the man they discovered he was clearly deceased, and had apparently been shot.

Members of SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to process the scene, along with Homicide Detectives, who will continue to investigate.
