Tricia Needs Our Help and Love

As often as we might say "I can't imagine" what Tricia Kyzer and her family are going through, the hard truth is that we do imagine, but cannot fathom, the depth of sorrow that comes with burying one's child. That alone is hard enough, but compound that pain with the expense of flying from South Carolina to Alaska and back to bring her son, Benn Kyzer, home, with the expense of a funeral, and the loss of income while the family tries to move through this tragedy. As part of Tricia's Jocassee Lake Tours' family, we are asking for donations to help her out only if you are financially able. Anyone who has had Tricia as a guide on Lake Jocassee knows her gift for sharing this incredible natural world, always finding something special in what others might consider mundane, be it an insect or a leaf or a cloud. She has a special gift with children, and many children have fallen in love with Tricia through the tours and camps. Her four children have been gifted with her love of nature. Benn's world was outside, and he would have, had he had the chance, passed this love along to his young daughter Ocean. Any funds in excess of Tricia's financial obligations will go towards Ocean.
