THE 190 MILE TRIDENT SWIM CHALLENGE

The CHALLENGE:

To swim the the entire return length of the Jurassic Coast as a Club in just one week. This totals an impressive 190 miles!

When: 10th - 17th July 2023

Where: Flamingo and Chard Swimming Pools during training sessions.

Funds raised during this event will be spilt between Flamingo Pool and Trident Swim Club.

Flamingo Pool needs to raise substantial funds to upgrade their current heating system whilst TRIDENT requires additional funds to secure the running of the club. Trident now has an amazing 85 swimmers to which, as coaches we are fully dedicated however we do desperately need additional funds to help maintain our current standards and session numbers.

The plan is for all mileage to be covered during current training sessions from 10th -17th July 2023. Each group will complete the following:

Learn to Train - 30 Miles

Train to Compete - 60 Miles

Seniors - 100 Miles

Mileage will be recorded by the coaches after every session.
