Triffany Hammond Celebration of Life (and bills)

Hi,

This is Freya, Triff's best friend of 30+ years. We were devastated, shocked, dismayed and horrified at the news of Triff's death. It's only been a few days, but feels as if a lifetime of grief has passed over every one of us in the wake of this news. Triff left a legacy of so much joy, laughter, kindness and thoughtfulness. She exuded joy and approached life with such an appetite for new experiences and people. It was an inspiration to everyone she met. As the introvert side of the friendship, I always laughed at the different experience we had walking in and out of a room. I would walk out having perhaps spoken to a couple of people. She walked out with 20 new close friends. And it was completely, utterly, and effortlessly genuine.

As we travel down this difficult and unexpected road of grief, so many have asked how they can help. Outside of magical intervention, practicality wins the day. Triff's kids are putting together an amazing party to celebrate Triff's life (2 actually) and they are also working through the challenging topics of upcoming bills and all of the logistics surrounding an untimely death.

I'd like to ask for your help to help them. First, let's have a party! If you'd like to contribute anything to help defray the costs of food and beverage at Triff's upcoming celebration please do so. And if you're able to help give the kids some breathing room on bills as they figure everything out I know it would be appreciated.

If none of this speaks to you, I know Triff was a long time supporter of the Humane Society and any organization around women's rights. There is no obligation, simply a way to help in this time.
