Trillium has been a resident at the Rock for close to 15 years now, and despite being in excellent overall health (with, as the vet described it, excellent reflexes) she is truly getting on the older side.
Most recently she's developed a large cyst on her side, which needs to be surgically removed. To help cover the costs of the surgery, and continuing costs of caring for her as she gets older, we're hoping to establish a small fund to take the financial burden off of the current rock residents and Trillium devotees.
The estimated cost of the surgery and associated veterinary visits is $800, and covering this is our first priority. However, anything beyond that will be set aside for future feline expenses.
If you're able, any donation would mean a lot. As grouchy as she can be, Trillium is a member of the chubber family, and we love her.
