Trina's Cancer, 2nd time around
Donation protected
Hello. I'm Trina. I'm a 15 year cancer survivor, and
I have Lymphoma.
I live in Charleston, WV, and get by on my Social Security disability of around $1100 a month. It's a month to month tightrope, barely enough for my utilities and most of my basic needs. It's just me and my pets.
I have recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma, stage 3.
I only have Medicare insurance coverage, paid for out of my monthly check. I have no savings, no life insurance, or retirement fund to borrow from. My family is small but willing to help when they can.
I'm a fighter. A 15 year cancer survivor through the power of prayer and modern medicine. I never thought I'd be here again...
Then came the lump, the testing: ultrasound, bloodwork, PET scan, surgery, biopsy...I'm in shock from the bills, and my testing before treatment is just beginning. My medicine alone is around $400 a month out of pocket, taking almost half my income.
I had to pass on an ECG because Medicare didn't yet approve it and they wanted me to pay $465.00. That's equal to my monthly utilities and grocery allowance... The test was to make sure my heart is healthy enough to handle chemotherapy. 12 days later and no word from the doctor about a reschedule. So I'm waiting.
Any funds I recieve will be used toward medical bills, medicine, and whatever it takes to get well.
If you can donate anything, thank you very much! I will be able to focus my energy on healing, and I will be eternally grateful for your kindness.
.If you can't afford to donate, please pray for my complete healing. It's free, and I completely believe in the power of prayer.
God bless you!
