Trina’s Road to recovery
Donation protected
Hey Friends and Family,
As many of you may know our daughter Trina was tragically hit by a car on October 11th around 6:30pm near the corner of N. Commercial Ave and N. Killingsworth St. The driver was intoxicated and sadly fled the scene leaving our daughter lifeless in the middle of the street. Trina was then rushed to OHSU by ambulance where she was placed in the trauma unit. Due to the “accident” she is suffering from a severe concussion and is struggling to verbally communicate. As a result of her trauma she will be required to attend both physical and occupational therapy sessions. Considering she will have multiple sessions a week as well as needing to be monitored and supported 24/7 I will be forced to take a unpaid leave of absence from work. & although we have faith that in due time she will make a full recovery we are still unsure. This incident has not only caused our family psychological stress but has also brought on a financial burden. Trina has been in the hospital for 3 days now with an unknown release date, so as hard as it is we are stepping out of our comfort zone and putting our egos aside to ask for assistance with the cost of her medical bills. We understand it is hard times so If you are unable to donate we completely understand, but if you are able please know every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated. We are thankful for all of the love and support and ask that you please keep our family in your prayers during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
The Stewart Family
