Trinity Cove Junior Fishing Tournament

First and for most I would like to thank everyone that was able to come out and participated in the Trinity Cove Junior Fishing Tournament. There were kids from 2yo to 15yo. It was a delight to see the smiles on their faces and to spark of the angler in them. The parents really seemed to enjoy themselves as well. It really felt like it brought the community closer together.

This was a free competition and lunch, where we served hot dogs, chips, soda and coffee, at the Trinity Cove Community Pond. The pond was stocked specifically for the tournament. There were lots of opportunities to win, with categories like Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, tagged fish and most Fish Caught . There were also drawings for cash prizes and lots of tackle.

With the community’s help we would like to make this an annual event. In doing so we need help with making this happen. Some of you may recall the tent took severe windstorm damage beyond repair. We are looking into permanent structures, electricity as well as support for the kids prizes. Anything you can donate, would help tremendously. Thank you.
