Trinity Sanchez Memorial Fund
Donation protected
My name is Patricia Stumm and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of Trinity Sanchez, daughter, single mother, fellow OIT classmate of the Radiologic Science class of 2024. These funds will help Trinity’s mom with financial support for Trinity’s Memorial Services, adoption fees so she can legally adopt Trinity’s son, and if we raise enough we can start a college fund for her son.
Trinity was a beloved member of the community. A first generation college student originally from Redding, CA, Trinity was accepted into the Oregon Institute of Technology Radiologic Science Bachelor’s Program in 2021. She began her externship at Asante in Ashland the summer of 2023. She had recently earned her Temporary License and was completing a two week rotation at Asante Medford for additional trauma exam experience.
Tragedy struck when Trinity was on her way home from Medford to Klamath Falls and the vehicle accident claimed her life at only 24 years of age. She commuted every single day back and forth from Ashland to Klamath Falls and recently Medford to Klamath Falls because as a student and single mother she lived with her own mother so that she could provide the best care for her son while finishing school and better her future.
Trinity brought so much love and joy to this world, she lit up the room with her beautiful smile and positivity. Her son meant the world to her! She was passionate about her career, excelled in patient care at the hospital, enjoyed the outdoors, member of the CrossFit Hogback, and even enjoyed getting crafty by making tie-dye shirts.
Trinity and I had lunch together the afternoon before her accident. We spoke about her future plans of getting a job in CT and possibly working at the hospital in Medford in addition to Ashland. She said to me “I am like your little bird and you are helping me spread my wings so I can fly.”
Trinity was way too young, kind, and gentle of a person to be taken away from us. She was so dedicated to helping others and her career choice is a a shinning example of how she placed service to others before self.
Please help us support Trinity’s mother during this heartbreaking difficult time. Donations go directly to Trinity’s mom as the beneficiary of this fundraiser.
