chiara malformation brain surgery

Hey, my name is Summer and I am asking for your help with medical and recovery expenses . In a short amount of days my husband and I will have to go to musc hospital in Charleston sc for a necessary decompression surgery. They will be going in the my head and taking out a piece of my skull to decrease the pressure in my head. Then they will be removing c-1 in my neck and taking a patch of dura from higher up on my head and making a duraplasty to make room in my neck for the low laying cerebellum tonsils that are 11mm right now. This was something that we thought would be in the future for me but I had no clue it would be needed this soon. We will be in Charleston for aleast a week if the surgery goes well and maybe longer if any complications arise. Brain surgery is scary but for me the scariest part of this is not knowing how we will be able to afford to even do this. So here I am asking for your help. I do understand that money is tight for everyone right now, believe me I know but anything that you can donate will be a tremendous help.
