Trip to Ukraine border

On March 25, 2022, I am traveling to Przemysl, Poland, a city on the border of Ukraine. I have committed to a minimum of one month with World Central Kitchen serving meals to refugees as they come across the border, and to those who are sleeping on floors and in tents in Przemysl. I am asking for monetary donations to be used to help purchase needed items for the refugees. I have personally paid for my airfare, rented an AirBnb that will house 8 refugees, and I will be feeding, and purchasing necessities for them. I am also on a wait list for another home that can house 18 refugees that I will be providing for also. I hope to rent it for a minimum of 3 months. I am told the teenage refugees are mainly sitting with nothing to do or just sleeping, always trying to stay hidden and quiet in bunkers. My goal is to buy 200 Play Stations and/or similar electronics to keep their minds busy and try to help mask their constant fear, and the sounds of missiles all around them. Many shelters do not have televisions so will look for a good source in Poland to buy a few.  Mobile phones are needed as many have none, making it difficult, if not impossible, to locate and talk to family. The goal of 300 phones with 300 minutes purchased for each phone is a reachable objective, I'm hoping, with contributions from others. In disasters, wherever they may be, many Americans want to do something to help, but distance and circumstance prevent most from being hands on. Contributing money directly for the families, especially the children is such a compassionate act of giving! I will post as often as I can to show where your money is going. Hopefully the pics will show lots of smiling faces even through this devastating time in their lives. Any amount you can contribute will be so greatly appreciated.
