Triple Bypass Surgery, Bed Lift, and Chair Lift

This GoFundMe request is for my good friend, Kermit Ball. Kermit, 62 years young, has been hospitalized at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia since November 2023. He is currently suffering from Congestive Heart Failure which has included a Triple Bypass heart surgery and a surgery to remove a mass on his lungs that has just been found and will be dealt with at a later date. Going forward, his doctor recommends 6-8 weeks of occupational rehabilitation and physical therapy. Once discharged, Kermit will also need a lifting device that will allow him to transfer himself from his bed to a wheel chair (and back) along with a lifting device for his vehicle. In 2018 Kermit was fitted with a leg prosthesis that no longer serves his physical needs. Doctors are hoping to fit him with a much lighter prothesis that will help him gain his mobility back.
