On June 24th, 2023, Trish was called unto God where she now stands tall alongside her Dad in Heaven knowing that she gave everything she could to stay on this earth while battling Parkinson’s disease.

Trish was born on September 18th, 1968 as the first child of Tanya Evans. At the age of 5, she was adopted by her father, Charles W. Evans III. Trish was the oldest of 4 siblings (Rebecca, Joshua, and Mark). She graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown in 1986. Shortly after, she pursued her education in Art. First by attaining her associate degree at Bucks County Community College and then attending Moore College of Art in Philadelphia.
She married Jim Waugh and started a family. She became a mom to four beautiful children, Rachel, Hannah, Natalie, and Evan. Although she loved working as an artist and continued to paint until the end, her favorite job was being a mom! Her children were everything to her as she raised them into adulthood trying to guide them as every parent would.

Besides art, Trish also had a passion for athletics. She ran track and cross country in high school. Her love for running was always present. She would go for daily runs or even run in official races to help support “charity causes” all around the area. She took things even further by deciding to become a personal trainer where she could help and guide others that shared the same passion. She taught fitness and Silver Sneakers classes at local studios in the Doylestown area. She loved working with seniors creating an environment of fun while staying in shape. She simply loved to help people in any way she could.

Like a lot of people, life took a turn in a different direction for Trish. She became single and eventually met her soulmate, Rob. They had a connection of interests between music and art which created a unique bond. Life was joyful and filled with trips to the beach, her favorite island of Aruba, and having fun with her family and her love, Rob. Even Trish’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s albeit scary did not diminish her zest for life.

Trish battled this disease day in and day out with Rob, her kids, family and friends by her side. She fought hard through all the doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, rehab, and nurses coming to the house. She was always still our Trish. Smiling, making a funny comment, or sneaking a little candy, ice cream, or soda when no one was looking. She was an amazing person and people that had the chance to be a part of her life were blessed to know her. There will never be another Trish!

Trish’s wishes were to have donations be made for her children to cover her outstanding medical expenses as well as Parkinson’s research via the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This GoFundMe is being created by Mark and Rebecca (Trish’s brother and sister) who will handle distribution to the family and the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
