Trish Spencer Cancer Surgery & Relief Fundraiser

Hello,

We are raising funds for Ms. Trish Spencer, Our Favorite local Restaurantier.

This started with a missed diagnosis of diverticulitis back in April of 2022. After Several months of pain, several doctor visits and different specialists, She Finally received a scan that showed a large mass in her colon. The diagnosis is Colon Cancer. With lots of luck and several more scans, It has not spread.

Several Specialists feel encouraged that this can be removed with a high success rate.

At this point, Ms. Spencer is $7000-$8000 out of pocket for doctor visits and scans up to this point.

She will be undergoing surgery, Hopefully very soon. This surgery will come with 20-25 days of bed rest and close monitoring for several months to come.

Ms. Trish has been a very large part of the restaurant community over the last 30 years. Working and taking care of patrons at the following establishments.

Black Angus 10 years

Saltwater grill 8 years

G Foleys 2 years

Laketown Wharf 3 Years

Now at Dat Cajun place for over 1 year, We Couldn't be happier to have her!!

We are looking to raise $15,000 to help cover expenses she has already endured and future expenses over the next several months.

As anyone can imagine, this is a very scary time; just hearing the word cancer from your doctor can be devastating. We are trying to take the stress off of her financially so she can focus her strength on the surgery and recovery.
