Tristan Carter's Olympic Journey

We've very generously had lots of questions from family, friends and people in the community who have asked how they can contribute to help Tristan as he prepares to represent Australia in canoe slalom at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Tristan is extremely uncomfortable asking for financial support, so as his big sister I've stepped in to create this page as a platform for people who would like to chip in to do so.

While certain elements of attending the Olympics itself is paid for, which is amazing, there are still a lot of self-funded elements to his training and preparation ahead of the big event. Not to mention that he is unable to work for long periods of time while he attends to increased training, racing and media commitments in the lead up, which is making it extremely difficult to meet basic living costs like rent and groceries week to week.

There is zero obligation to contribute, we just wanted to provide an opportunity for those who have asked! And we appreciate any and all support that everyone has shown - financial or otherwise. Tristan, myself and our family have been truly overwhelmed by how many people have celebrated with us along this incredible ride so far! I want to extend an enormous thank you from myself (Chelsea - Tristan's sister), on behalf of the whole Carter family!
