Tristan’s Car Accident Rehabilitation

Hi, my name is Keera! I’m Tristan’s sister in law. On Friday, December 15th, Tristan was in a bad car accident. He was rushed to emergency surgery for his spine. He broke his C5, C6, & C7 vertebrae. They removed the discs between the three broken vertebrae and placed a titanium cage and plate around his spinal cord to fuse the cord and for the new bone to grow through. He just recently stepped down from the ICU into the Neuro Step Down Unit. He’ll be starting his intensive physical therapy to regain his ability to walk and to use his arms again. Recovery can take anywhere from 6 months to a year at least. I’m trying to help raise money for Tristan, Poey and A’mea. (Poey is my sister and his girlfriend.) Since they’re not only out of Tristan’s income but Poey is also trying to spend time with him and help him through this so she’s not working as much. It’s also hard while we are trying to fluctuate on who keeps A’mea since her step dad, Tristan, is unable to help like he was! We appreciate anything and anything will help.
