Help Lorri fight Brain Cancer

Hi Everyone. For those who don't know me, I am Nikki, Lorri's sister.

On April 8th, 2023 Lorri suffered a grand mal seizure. After a trip to the local ER, they performed an MRI where they discovered Lorri has a brain mass. Within two weeks of finding the brain mass, Lorri had her first brain surgery, specifically a craniotomy, on April 26th, 2023 where she was in the Neuro-ICU in Burlington for a few days. Lorri seemed to be doing well. Lorri went on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 for her first post-op MRI and unfortunately, they found the tumor has been growing back. Now, she has to undergo a second brain surgery on Friday, August 25th, 2023 followed by Chemotherapy. Her form of brain cancer is called Oligodendroglioma which is an incurable form of brain cancer.

At this time, we thought we would never have to ask for help as Lorri refuses assistance from others (she is a strong, independent woman). Each visit to Vermont is getting costly with the ferry, and the overall care she is receiving is beginning to accumulate to thousands of dollars in medical bills.
