Trojan Athletics travel to the Junior Olympics

My name is Octavis Long and I'm the founder and head coach for the Trojan Athletics Track & Field Program. Our program focuses on mentorship, and personal growth through athletics. Our team is made up of a diverse, student-athlete population between the ages of 5-18, who primarily reside in Mid-Michigan communities.

On July 3-4, 2021, our team participated in the AAU Region 12 National Qualifier. As a result of many phenomenal performances, 21 of our student/athletes qualified for the 2021 Junior Olympic Games in Humble, Texas, August 1-7.

Unfortunately, our main fundraiser which was to host an AAU meet in the Greater Lansing area was canceled due to the lack of support from area schools in our ability to rent track and field facilities.

That's why your support is greatly needed. Supporting this GoFundMe account would allow these 21 participants to have travel expenses paid which include adequate lodging, food, and registration fees.
