Troop 1776 San Ramon CA
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We are writing to you with some sad news and hoping for your assistance during this difficult time. Our BSA Troop 1776 has been a source of joy and learning for many scouts in our community for over 20 years. We have been teaching them the values of leadership, service, teamwork, and outdoor skills through various activities and adventures.
Our troop recently suffered an enormous loss. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, thieves stole our trailer with all of our camping equipment, tents, stoves, cookware, and other supplies from the church parking lot where we store it. The trailer and its contents were worth over $15,000, and we have no insurance to cover the theft. This means that we have lost everything that we need to continue our camping program, which is at the core of our scouting experience.
We are asking for your help to raise funds to replace our trailer and equipment. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign where you can donate any amount that you can afford. No donation is too small or too big. Every dollar counts and will make a difference for our troop and our kids.
We are beyond grateful for your generosity and support. We hope that you will share this letter and our GoFundMe page with your friends, family, and networks. Together, we can help Troop 1776 get back on the trail and continue their scouting journey.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
Sincerely,
Parents of Troop 1776 a 501(c)(3) organization
