Boy Scout Troop 517 Trailer

Donation protected
Boy Scout Troop 517, a special-needs Boy Scout troop has been in Arlington for 25 years. Becky Nussbaum, a Sunday School teacher took over this wonderful troop in 2015 after the leader unexpectedly resigned.

However, on June 22, 2017, the troop suffered another devestating loss when their cargo trailer, full of special gear and equipment was stolen off the property at First United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas.

This campaign is to raise funds greater than $10,000, which is the estimated value of the contents of the trailer. Items included baseball equipment, fishing poles, backpacks, folding chairs, cots and other specialized camping equipment.

If you or anyone you know have ever been a part of scouting, you know what a wonderful and worthwhile organization it is. Please join me in this vitally important campaign to help this very special group and donate today. Thank you!
