Troop 95 - Replace Stolen Equipment

Here's the link to the news story from KEYT
Saturday afternoon Boy Scout Troop 95 in Orcutt California, discovered that their equipment shed located at Saint Louis De Montfort Church had been broken into and several thousand dollars worth of equipment had been stolen. Tents, camping stoves, propane tanks, sleeping bags, backpacking equipment, food, cooking equipment and a custom copper display that was used in their rank advancement ceremonies, were all taken. All of this equipment was purchased with money the boys had raised through local fundraisers.
Boy Scout Troops do not receive financial support from local or national councils. It took several years of fundraisers to raise the money needed for quality equipment, and to have it stolen, is disheartening. What makes this situation more difficult is they are heading in to the bridging season when new boys join the troop and additional equipment would be needed. The Troop's next fundraiser is not until October, leaving the boys to ask for the community's help to purchase the replacement equipment sooner.
Thank you for helping them to rebuild their equipment supply. It is greatly appreciated.
