Trooper Dean Atkinson Jr. shot in line of Duty
Donation protected
On September 22nd we were once again reminded of how dangerous the profession of law enforcement can be when Trooper Dean Atkinson Jr. was ambushed in his patrol car in Walla Walla. We are reminded of how strong and resolute our Law enforcement can be when Trooper Dean Atkinson though being shot in the face, found the strength to drive himself to the hospital.
Dean was airlifted to Harborview and is currently in surgery. Trooper Atkinson is a five-year veteran of the Washington State Patrol and we are relieved and happy to announce that he is in stable condition but has a long road to recovery.
Dean is planning on getting married to his beautiful bride Meagan this next summer. Let's help alleviate any financial burden they might have from this tragic act of violence on this amazing Trooper by donating what you can. All proceeds will be going directly to Dean Atkinson Jr.
We are also asking for prayers for a full recovery for trooper Atkinson and his family.
