Troopers Medical Fund

Donation protected

Trooper was found a few weeks ago at the boardwalk in Asbury Park, limp, covered in fleas and almost dead, by one of our former foster Mom's. But Trooper was purring in her arms. She reached out for help and he spent 2 1/2 weeks hospitalized on IV's, antibiotics, and steroids. He was treated for the flea infestation first. He had several blood tests that determined he was anemic and had a serious infection from flea bites, and was suffering from fatty liver. After only a few days his appetite picked up and miraculously, he tried to stand. Trooper was released several days later with normal liver counts, but still anemic, on continued antibiotics and Steroids.
He just had his first follow up blood tests and he has perfect numbers. Now he is being weaned off the steroids and will need reched bloodwork in 2 months.
Please help with Troopers Medical Expenses. Your donations make it possible for FOHA to continue to help abandoned and homeless pets when others say no.
FOHA (Friends of Homeless Animals of North NJ) is a foster family network that fosters homeless cats and kittens until they are adopted.
To date we have found homes for almost 1000 cats and kittens and spay/neutered over 2000 cats.
We hold regular adoptions at PETCO in Clifton NJ and hold 2 annual Tricky Tray fundraisers to help further our cause.
But for life saving efforst like the one we made for Trooper, we rely heavily on donations from people just like you.
Thank you for your generousity, in advance!!  We need YOUR support to cover Troopers bills.
