Troy and Melissa Conley Medical Surgery Recovery

Hi, my name is Cindy Fanelli, and I am raising funds for two very close friend's of mine and my husband. Troy and Melissa are a married couple with a blended family of 3 beautiful girls. They are certainly blessed with the love of family and friend's but this year has taken an emotional and physical toll on this couple, with the loss of Melissa's mother to Alzheimer's disease in July and a recent lung cancer diagnosis in Troy's mom it's piling up.

Troy went into the hospital a few weeks ago to have reconstructive surgery for a prior injury. From everything the Drs said ,it should have been a basic procedure. Turns out Troy's body developed an infection. He was prescribed antibiotics and sent home. A few days later he was back in the hospital for reinfection. This happened a total of 4 times ! His body was resistant to the antibiotics they would prescribe him. 4 surgeries, 3 to repair damage from the infection ! As you can imagine, work has been out of the question for Troy. Right now we don't know when Troy will be back to work. He is not well yet. The Drs have yet to find the right medicine to fight this infection. Melissa is a hardworking police officer who drives to Atlanta everyday for work and works extra jobs on the weekends to try and make ends meet and she always collects for the needy and donates her time for those that have less than. I know this is not a place where two hard working people thought they would find themselves but life can throw us curves, quickly.
