Hi, my name is Kelly Evans and I consider it a privilege to share with you the opportunity to bless a very deserving family in this critical time of need. They are truly like family to me and I hope their story inspires you to action on their behalf...BLESS YOU!
UPDATE!! April 23, 2024
Troy's positivity and humor have really been an inspiration to everyone around him!
TROY ASKED ME TO SHARE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
My family and I would like to thank everyone for all of your donations, support, and especially prayers! I am doing really well and so thankful to God for getting me through thus far!
As many know, I had a complete mastectomy on January 30th and then started chemotherapy in March. The treatment program they put me on consists of 12 weeks (weekly) of one kind and then 9 months (every 3 weeks) of another type of chemotherapy. I have already made it through 6 treatments. We are all so thankful that time is flying by for this part of my life!
Please continue to pray for my Tuesday treatments and for my energy level and the side effects I am experiencing from the chemotherapy.
God bless you all!

Troy Koehler is a father of two wonderful children. His son, Aidan, is pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Oklahoma, and his daughter, Avery, is in her 3rd year of Oklahoma State University’s Veterinarian program. Troy is the son of Richard and Rita Koehler of El Reno, Oklahoma. Troy’s family have been long time members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno, Oklahoma. Today, Troy attends Life Church in Broken Arrow with his fiance Sarena.
Troy owned Troy’s Garage in Tuttle, Oklahoma and served the Tuttle and surrounding communities for over 17 years He recently relocated his home and automotive service business to Eufaula, Oklahoma.
On December 20th, 2023, Troy was diagnosed with a rare form of male breast cancer that required immediate surgery on January 30, 2024. Troy underwent a full mastectomy on his right-side, had lymph nodes removed and port placement for chemotherapy. Current plans are for a year of chemotherapy, and the type of chemotherapy will be dependent on findings from biopsies taken during the surgery he had on January 30th.
In addition to the recent diagnosis of cancer, Troy was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in August of 2021. With type 2 diabetes, Troy has had several related complications, including the latest complication of a diagnosis of stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Given Troy’s ongoing medical struggle it has become apparent that Troy will be unable to continue in business during his cancer treatment and recovery which is expected to last at a minimum one year. Therefore, Troy and his family have taken measures to prepare for this “life change” by placing their trust in God and being led to put his business up for sale.
Troy’s family, friends and Sarena desire for Troy’s focus to be on his healing and restoration back to health, without the worry of financial challenges. For those of you who wish to help, we ask the Lord to bless you abundantly. We also sincerely thank you also for your prayers for Troy’s recovery.
