Troy McMillan

(October 16, 1973 – October 12, 2022)

With great sadness and a heavy heart, we must share the unexpected passing of Troy McMillan on October 12, 2022, at the age of 48, in Williamsburg, Ontario.

On behalf of Troy’s loving wife and soulmate, Tracy, we are setting up a GoFundMe page.

Troy was everything to Tracy, her rock, comfort, and support. He was a fantastic family man; he loved his family, extended family, and many friends. Troy embraced Tracy’s daughter, Lauryn (Landon) as his own, and he would go out of his way so they could have their adventures together. Troy always had time for children, which held a special place in his heart. Troy was also musically gifted and even taught a friend’s son how to play the guitar.

Troy loved to listen and watch thunderstorms; he would sit on the Morrisburg docks for hours late at night to watch the lightning. He loved to go off-roading in the mud; he enjoyed fishing and hunting; he was just an all-around good guy who all will sadly miss.

Troy was also the family’s primary financial support. As you can only begin to imagine, Tracy has a lot going on. There are a ton of expenses that need to be covered.

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and, unfortunately, unprepared for all that is happening. Losing a loved one is always tricky but coping with a sudden loss adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern, and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or losing a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

We want to support Tracy and her family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. In these times of loss and sadness, people come together to help one another. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide.
