Celebration of Life for Troy Porter

Hello my name is Leigh and I am organizing this fund to celebrate the colorful life of Troy Porter, a person whose presence illuminated the lives of all fortunate enough to know him. Troy's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but his legacy of love, kindness, and resilience lives on in each of us.

Troy possessed a spirit that was truly extraordinary. His infectious laughter and boundless wit could brighten the darkest of days. He was able to connect with people from all walks of life, making friends wherever he went. He had a talent of finding humor in the unexpected moments with a clever joke or a funny jab.

Troy passed away unexpectedly on September 25th 2023.

It's during times such as this that we realize the immense value of friendship. A friend is not just someone we share experiences with, they are a piece of our identity, a confidant, and a source of support. He was family to us and us to him. His absence leaves an indelible mark on our lives.

Donations will go directly to funding a gathering for his friends and his “chosen family” to come together so we can share our memories, stories, pictures and all of our love for Troy. We will also be funding a permanent memorial spot or plaque with his name, in the Dallas area.

Any unused funds will be donated to a charity TBD.
