Troy & Tianna's IVF Journey

We are Troy and Tianna Brady, and we would like to share our fertility story with you.

 

We have been married for three years and have always dreamt of starting our own family someday. Two years ago, we

started trying to get pregnant with no success. One year later, we underwent some fertility testing and investigative

surgery resulting in a confirmed diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Our specialists determined that we both have fertility issues and that falling pregnant naturally would require a miracle. At that time, it was recommended that IVF

was our best option for having children.

 

This journey has been very emotionally, physically, and financially challenging. However, we are determined to

persevere through these challenges so that we may grow our family. The cost of IVF can be a significant burden for most

families. We have been blessed to find a bulk-billed IVF clinic that helps to reduce the average prices. Despite this, the

remaining cost is still overwhelming for us.

Troy works as a school chaplain, an occupation that relies heavily on donations for funding. And I work as a casual relief

Teacher Aide whilst studying for my Cert IV in Education Support. While we love our jobs, they, unfortunately, are not

enough to relieve the financial burden of our IVF treatments.

 

Our fertility specialist has predicted that, concerning our medical history, it may take three IVF attempts before we are

successful. For these three attempts, it is expected to cost us up to $6000. While we are overwhelmed with this, we

trust that God is by our side through this journey. He has shown us His divine love and favor for us, and we will continue

to fix our eyes on Him.

 

We believe God Has a plan for us to have the children we dream of, no matter how it may be achieved. However, this

journey comes with an expensive price tag, and we cannot pay for this on our own. We are a couple who loves to help

others, but asking for help does not come easily.

Through it all, God has strengthened our relationship, our determination, and our faith. We greatly anticipate the moment we get to hold our child in our arms and thank God for His precious gift.
