Trudi’s fight against Brain Cancer

Hi my name is Teigan,

I am trying to raise some funds to help my mum who has been fighting brain cancer for the last few years, after an operation to removed masses from her brain back in 2022 we were hopefully that she was free from cancer the doctors then found another mass that was under control with radiation but in December 2023 we were given the devastating news that mum had developed 4 to 5 new masses in her brain along with something called leptomeningeal disease, the doctors gave our mum 4 to 6 months before we would have to say our goodbyes.

since then our lives have been full of appointments, scans, chemotherapy , radiotherapy and immunotherapy while all of this has given us some extra time with our mum which we are so grateful for it hasn’t come without a price tag.

she has been unable to work since January and the cost of living and surviving in the world has sadly put her in a awful position.

I was urged to start a go fund me from a few people within our small community as our mum is on the verge of loosing her rental and has exhausted all her savings.

Asking for help is not something I’m good at but please if you can help our mum in anyway we would be forever grateful.

she deserves to live stress free with whatever time she has left.
