Hi, my name is Debra Ilunga, and I am the Founder of True Blue Party. We are an organization that works to better the human condition, by Uniting, Educating and Taking action. We work to create informed voters by getting out accurate facts. We promote Candidates who support issues that are important to everyone and help better the human condition. If you are a member you understand how important a voice is. How important it is to create informed voters by getting out the facts and the vote. We have been working as volunteers for 13 years, and we have survived, not by money, but by volunteers. The Admins that have remained throughout the 13 years, are Carol Graffius and me. In 13 years we have been through a lot, and have put so much work into True Blue Party and we are grateful for all who have volunteered through the years. those who came to the call when needed. We have grown through the years. We have made a difference.

My vision was far grander than we were able to achieve without money. But without money, we have achieved quite a lot. In 2012, we were a force in achieving in certain states, workers' bargaining rights. We were a great force in helping get out the vote for Obama and many of the issues he wanted support in. Obama was the first Presidential candidate for which we created a page and battled misinformation daily, and there was a lot of misinformation. Anyone was welcome to comment on the Obama page of which we had many opposing commentators, but we worked to keep the communication intelligent with facts and respectful of others' views, but we never backed down. We won some respect from our opponents in 2012 because we stayed professional in our arguments. We got some grief too. Like when I wore my True Blue Party "Stop the insanity" vote Democrat T-shirt in the red state I belong. I was called a commie, etc. I stayed polite but steadfast because I believed liberals were supporting issues, like universal healthcare for everyone. This to me was one of the most important issues for all of us, and even today, we still have never accomplished what was needed. Today, we still do not have affordable healthcare and Insurance companies are still involved. However, The affordable healthcare act was a step in controlling some of the insurances abuses.

In 2010, I created a blog, and True Blue Party Facebook public group, which today is our National Group of which membership is not easily granted. We have a private group in every state, including International. We have pages that are continued that serve different purposes. We have True Blue Party-info highway, and we have a page for every presidential candidate that we supported and continue to put out accurate facts about them. The only one we supported that did not win was Hillary. We have had to live through the devastation to our country because of that loss. Members of the True Blue Party became divided which is what caused me to write the "United We Stand and Divided We Fall" post that is still there today as a reminder. Hillary's loss to Donald Trump was extremely heartbreaking for many and we have witnessed the fracture in our Democracy. I was told the True Blue Party would never last, especially without money, but we are still standing. We use to have a website until I could not financially continue it.

I filed for a True Blue Party trademark in 2012, to protect our name and our goals and mission. Protecting the True Blue Party has been a job in itself. I have personally shouldered the cost of keeping the True Blue Party alive. I spent almost two years and expenses fighting off True Blue Politics, who tried to cancel the True Blue Party trademark for fictitious reasons. While I had to represent myself and True Blue Party, because I did not have finances for an attorney, and True Blue Politics did, I rose to the challenge and in December 2020, we won. That was a huge win, not just for me, but for all of us. During this almost two-year court battle, I tested positive for covid. I survived that as well.

Today I am at a crossroads because I was filing an 8 and 9, which is True Blue Party's 10-year renewal and a declaration document stating we have been consistently in commerce since we gained our trademark in 2013. In the past, I filed all documents and paid all fees personally never asking for help from True Blue Party members. I was prepared to do that until I saw the amount. I do not have the amount to pay, and I have a deadline to file. I made True Blue Party for all of us. I understand how tight money is, but for us to remain in commerce we must pay these fees.
