TruTravels Xmas Mission 2022

This Christmas we're aiming to raise £10,000 for our chosen charities and to give back to those less fortunate at this given time. From our TruTravellers to our TruCrew we are a family and believe we can the change we want to see in the world.

From emergency food supplies and water relief to rebuilding schools. Every penny raised will go directly to helping support locals around the world. Here is a little bit about our 2 chosen charities:

Rebuilding a school in Cabuli Island

Last December 2021, The Philippines was hit by typhoon Rai. May places were places completely destroyed. We successfully raised nearly $10,000 last Christmas to help the rebuild of this beautiful country. One of the places that was affected was the only school in Cabuli Island. The school used to host about 150 kids and 4 full time teachers. Now they have 100 plus enrolled students and are currently using the 2 small churches on the island as their classrooms. We want to help them build a fully operational classrooms and support the rebuild of this amazing educational facility.

Sonne International Burma

The situation on the streets in Myanmar is chaotic: There is a health crisis, coup and – as a result – extremely rising food prices. The health care system in Myanmar is inadequate and the poorest sections of the population have no or insufficient access to medical care. At the moment, their main goal is to support slum dwellers in Yangon with aid packages full of food through your donation – so that they at least do not have to worry about their daily bread in this difficult situation.

Ty, Laura, Katie, Livvy, Chloe, Josh, Jess, James - 50km O2 to TruHQ Walk

Charlie - 4x4x48 Challenge - Run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours (48 miles total)

Gemma - Climbing Mount Kilamanjaro

Robyn - Cutting hair & donating the Little Princess Trust
