Trying to keep warm In Illinois

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ian, but many people know me as Wolfdragonblood the pixel artist. I...wasn't expecting that I would be on the other end of having to ask people for help, but life tends to be that way.

It will be winter soon, and living in Illinois means we tend to get a lot of snow out here, so heating is important to have during this time. But the boiler furnace has been acting up lately, so I had it checked out, and that's why I'm here today.

The person who came out said it would cost at least $12,000 to get a new one or if the current one is to be repaired it would be $3,000-$4,000.

I don't earn enough from my art to be able to pay for either of these things on my own, which is why I'm coming here asking for help.

Being in employment limbo has been extremely rough to deal with as I haven't landed anything for quite some time that was stable.
