Tryst77 Handball Club as the name suggests has been in existence in Cumbernauld since 1977 offering fantastic opportunities for young people (and the not so young... you all know who you are!!!!) to participate in this amazing sport. The club has a long history of providing players for both the Scotland and GB squads and currently provides a number of young people for the Scotland Youth squads.

The Partille Cup, hosted in Sweden, is an international handball tournament which Tryst77 first attended in 1989 and has taken youth squads to, on a number of occasions since then.

This year 2023 we are looking to return to the Partille Cup with our youth squads for the first time in a few of years. The club and its members, other than small grants, self fund trips to play, our club has undertaken lots of fundraising this year to help make this trip accessible to as many of our young people as possible. We really want to give them an amazing life experience, given what we've all endured the last few years. Throughout lockdown our young people consistently engaged in training online, when we had to, and in person when we could , in open spaces..(Cumbernauld Fields a regular at 10am on a Sunday!!!!).

We need your help with this fundraising initiative to ensure as many of our amazing young people can go to Sweden to represent Tryst77 and Scotland. Your kind donations will help with costs for attending participating accommodation and kit, and give these young people an experience they'll never forget.
